What can you expect

Initial Consultation:  During your first consultation at The Foot Care Centre, we will examine your feet and discuss your pain and discomfort in order to reach a diagnosis. Based on this diagnosis, we will explain your treatment plan and begin the treatment and also provide practical advice on the footwear and the foot care that will help to prevent the condition from arising again.

Follow Up: The majority of our treatments can be completed on your first session. Some treatments, such as verrucae, may take a number of sessions.  However, these sessions are normally shorter, as we are already aware and informed of your condition.

Allow approximately 45 minutes for your first appointment and consultation. Your medical history will be taken, and an initial assessment conducted during which time the majority of foot problems can be diagnosed/treated.

We will take the time to discuss any problems or concerns you have. After a thorough examination of your feet, your treatment plan can begin.

For your comfort and safety all equipment is sterilised using professional Autoclave Sterilisation Systems, individually packed in sterile containers.  This means that only a freshly sterilised pack will be used for each client.

Appointment Tips

• Please remember to bring a list of your current over the counter and prescribed medications to your initial appointment as well as to advise the Foot Health Practitioner of any new medications that you may be taking at any follow up sessions.  This is really important as some medicaments I may use may have contraindications with a patient’s current medications.
  
• Please remove any nail varnish on your toes prior to your appointment.

Our Customers Come First

A €20.00 Booking Fee is required prior to your first appointment – this amount will be deducted
from the initial appointment fee of €50.00.

The Foot Care Centre charges a cancellation fee for missed or cancelled appointments, with less than 24 hours notice, of €20 which is payable prior to your next appointment.
