About

Hello, I’m Andrea Keenan, a fully qualified and insured Foot Health Practitioner, holding a Diploma in Foot Health Care from the SMAE Institute, UK.  I am also completing further study which will offer my patients a wider scope of treatments.

I am a student member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists of Ireland and an Associate Member of the Irish Chiropodists and Podiatrists Organisation.

A Foot Health Practitioner specialises in the care and maintenance of your feet and can deal with all sorts of foot issues including Corns, Callus (hard skin), heel fissures, fungal nails, athlete’s foot and verrucas.  I have a special interest in the high risk diabetic foot

Continued Professional Development (CPD’s) are an important part of refreshing my skills and keeping up with new techniques.  Since qualifying as a Foot Health Practitioner, I have gone onto further study which will give me the additional skills and knowledge to offer further specialised treatments to my patients, ensuring they receive the latest information and treatments available.

My Education

I hold a Diploma in Foot Health Care and I am currently studying for a BSc in Podiatry through Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh. I provide a highly professional service where comfort, safety, hygiene and confidentiality are paramount.  I hold a current Emergency First Aid Certificate and I’m Garda vetted.
